Privacy Policy
Version 2026-10-23
Next Level Pipeline (the "site") is run by Ted Gjeldum ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions can go to tgjeldum@gmail.com.
The short version: we collect what the site needs to help with your recruiting search. We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and nothing about a player goes to coaches unless the family chooses to share it. For players under 18, a parent or guardian makes that choice. You can download or delete your information at any time.
1. What we collect
- Account: your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we also get your Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
- Family: each player's first name, high-school graduation year, and whether he is 18 or older, plus who is linked to the family and the family invite codes.
- What you enter: for example a ZIP code and search area, positions, height and weight, stats and measurements, grades and test scores, honors, video links, references, the schools in your funnel, notes, to-dos, and messages you draft to coaches.
- Conversations with the recruiting assistant.
- Agreement records: when you accept these policies or a parent gives consent, we record the name, date, version, IP address and browser.
- Usage: which pages and features are used, device and browser type, IP address, and errors. We use this to keep the site working and to improve it.
We don't ask for Social Security numbers, payment cards or precise location. Please don't enter health information or other sensitive details.
2. How we use it
- To run the site for you: your plan, your funnel, school matches, and the assistant's answers.
- To keep accounts secure and stop misuse.
- To improve the site. Ted reviews questions, feedback and gaps in the data.
- To email you sign-in codes and important notices about your account. No marketing emails without your permission.
3. Sharing with college coaches
Coach sharing is off by default. A family can choose one of these options for each player:
- Share nothing (the default).
- County only: coaches see that a player from your county fits, with no name and no contact details.
- Full: coaches see the player's name and profile, plus player and parent contact details.
For a player under 18, only a linked parent or guardian can turn sharing on. You can change the choice at any time. Coach features aren't open yet, so nothing is being shared today.
4. Companies that help run the site
We share information only with these service providers, and only what each one needs to do its job:
- Render: hosts the site and stores its data in the United States.
- Anthropic: runs the AI behind the recruiting assistant. Your questions, and the profile details needed to answer them, are sent to Anthropic to produce each answer. Anthropic's terms for business customers say it doesn't use this information to train its models.
- Google: handles "Continue with Google" sign-in.
- Resend: delivers emailed sign-in codes.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the site. In a sale or transfer, this policy keeps applying to your information. We never sell personal information and never share it for advertising.
5. Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in, plus short-lived cookies during sign-in and when you open a family invite. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may also store small conveniences, such as your last-viewed tab.
6. Players under 18, and children
- The site is not for anyone in middle school or younger, or anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
- A player under 18 can't use the site until a parent or legal guardian links to the family and gives consent.
- A linked parent can see, change, download or delete their child's information at any time from the Family page, or by emailing us.
7. Your choices
- See and change: the Family page and your profile.
- Download: "Download my data" on the Family page gives you a copy of what's saved.
- Delete: "Delete…" on the Family page, or email us. We'll respond within 30 days. Deleting removes your information from the live site right away. Backup copies are automatically replaced within 14 days.
- Sharing: change your family's choice on the Family page at any time.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete it, we keep only the record that agreements were accepted (name, date and version), because we may need to show that consent was given.
9. Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Only Ted can access the saved data, sign-in doesn't use passwords, and the data is backed up every day. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
10. The baseball data on the site
The site's data comes mostly from publicly posted college rosters. Players aren't named on the site; coaches can be. If you have a concern about information about you in that data, email us.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the version date and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
